Rotate PDF Pages
Turn pages by 90 degrees or any free angle, with a live preview.
Scanners and phone cameras produce sideways and slightly crooked pages constantly, and a viewer's rotate button only changes what you see, not what the file stores. This tool writes the rotation into the document itself, at any angle you like: quick 90 degree turns, or a free angle set with the dial, the slider, a typed number such as -2.5 for deskewing, or by dragging the handle on a page preview. Choose every page or just the crooked ones, and watch the preview turn live before you save.
Drop a PDF to rotate
Page previews are rendered on your device so you can see what needs turning.
Files stay on this device — nothing is uploaded.
Processing Happens in Your Browser
Processing happens locally on your device. Your file does not need to be uploaded to our processing server.
How it works
- 1
Load the PDF
Drop the file in; page previews are rendered locally so you can see what is crooked.
- 2
Pick pages
Rotate every page, or tick just the ones that need turning.
- 3
Choose an angle
Use the 90 degree shortcuts, the dial or slider, type an exact figure such as 15 or -2.5, or drag the handle on a page.
- 4
Save
Download the corrected document with every angle baked in.
Features and benefits
Any angle, not just 90s
Free rotation from -180 to +180 degrees, in half-degree steps, for straightening crooked scans.
Live preview
Each page turns on screen as you drag the dial, the slider or the page handle.
Per-page control
Give every page its own angle, or apply one angle to the whole document at once.
Permanent, not cosmetic
The rotation is written into the file rather than applied by a viewer.
Quality kept
Right-angle turns change metadata only; free angles reuse the original page content, never a screenshot of it.
Supported formats and limits
Any unencrypted PDF. Right-angle turns are stored as the page's own /Rotate attribute; free angles are applied with a transformation matrix onto a page sized to fit.
Everything runs inside your browser tab, so the practical ceiling is your device's available memory rather than an upload limit. Documents up to roughly 100 MB work comfortably on a modern laptop; very large files are best handled a few at a time, and closing the tab clears all of it instantly.
